Guru Poornima is a traditional festival celebrated by Hindus and Buddhists.On this day, the disciples offering Puja or show respect for their guru. Traditionally, the festival celebrated by Buddhists in honor of Lord Buddha, who gave his first sermon on this day in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, India.
